The basic problem (at least in my experience), is that people who buy into ideology abandon logic and reason, and adopt emotional and irrationality.

The screeching leftist SJWS and radical femminists of today are examples. They have NOT been taught or learned about old fashioned things like science, facts, data, and reasoned discussion. They don't have the tools of logic.

So when they hear facts or logic, their circuits short, and they emit anger and screeching emotion.

I think you are correct, very difficult to talk to them. Like trying to reason with a 2 year old in the middle of his temper tantrum.

Unfortunately, degrees in Wymyn's studies and Gender studies don't prepare these people for life. Just prepares them for a career in screaming helplessly into the sky.
