High calorie millet khichadi of Rajasthan and Haryana

Bajra's khichdi is very popular in Rajasthan and Haryana. It is specially made in winter. If you are on the diet, then this can be a good option for you, because there is very little calorie in it. It keeps the stomach full for a long time. There are many nutrients in the millet. Millet can make your perfect mile in lunch or dinner. By adding ghee and eating with curd, it tastes even more.

material :

Millet - 1 cup
Garlic (chopped): 1/2 cup
Beans - 1/2 cup
Peas - 1/2 cups
Green Dhool Moong Dal - 1/2 Cup
Onion - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - one quarter tablespoon
Salt - 1 tbsps
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
Red chili - 1 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp

Method :
Wash the moong dal and keep it for soaking for half an hour. Wash millet and keep it soaked in water for one hour. Take a pressure cooker and pour a tablespoon oil in it. After this, add a tbsp of cumin seeds. Put chopped onions and fry on low flame. If the onions are light brown, add carrots in it. Now add chopped beans and peas. Mix well. After lightly stirring it, put the water along with moong dal as well. Now put the water in the pressure cooker along with millet. Boil it with a little more water in it. Now add 1 tbsp of salt, red chili and turmeric powder. Add a little more water to get the thickness of the slurry. Cover the lid of pressure cooker now. Allow three to four seats in the pressure cooker. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Serve warmly with yogurt.

Method
