hmmm i'm skeptical about steem alliance because ned has always been shady and i feel like there's something dirty going on in the background. stinc has always stank if you know what i mean :)
at the same time i think there's also some truth to the rumor. it might not be samsung but someone else with the influence and money might be coming in which is why ned has been powering down already before all this came to light.
steem alliance is just another dirty attempt to legitimize his actions. i think he'll be gone no matter what. either out of his own will or forced out because he's lost so much trust already and it's not coming back unless something really big happens that suddenly catches almost everybody by surprise. something like ned levitating on water or some shit. i see it very unlikely.
for the most part i'll be focusing mainly on my gamedev. this is more like popcorn material 👍
Good points. But we live on here and keep loving Steemit and Steem. Satoshi may have evaporated and BTC is still legendary. Palmer may be out trashtalking what a crap he made something called Dogecoin and how useless and senseless it is but Doges are stronger than ever. Whoever was behind Steem and Steemit, even if they do whatever, the community already owns Steem so we good. LOL We keep steeming like a boss. ^_^

satoshi never revealed himself to public and is no longer influencing bitcoin. palmer is just having fun. people like charlie lee have dumped their stake and let the coins take life of their own.
ned meanwhile has always been working hard to have more control. he's still around and makes all the important decisions like hardforks and who gets the biggest rewards or not.
steem has the community factor that might be a differenciator but if anybody calls steem decentralized he's a scamartist. for now i'll keep using steem because i see a lot of potential in the community realizing what's going on and trying to call out the dictator :)
Yep, the centralized nature of this cannot be denied. I, too, hope for change in the horizon. I t's not even break even for me and the apathy of most is disappointing. I'm really glad I've met some real people who can really engage, converse and support like you. It feels like finding my people, my own tribe. Hahaha!
the crypto rewards and community factor together makes this platform really interesting. it's just that people are afraid to speak out against whales because of the downvotes. but for the most part meeting new steemians is always fun :)
