Book Review

Yesterday i read the book Candide by Voltaire. It is a satirical response to the theory that man is inherently good. From reading the book i gained some insight. The insight i gained was that life can be very hard at times but it is the mindset you decide to put on your current circumstances that determines how you feel about it. Candide and his companions are put through hell and throughout the book continue to strive forward. Candide and his companions discuss once that man must continue to be in action and without action you cannot move out of controversy. I recommend this book to anyone. It is very short and wont take but 2 or 3 hours to read.
