In South-East Asia, up to 90% of corals will disappear by 2050, even if global warming can be slowed down. By 2048, the region will not have fish resources, if the industrial catch continues at the same rate. Experts say that by the year 2100 in Africa more than half of the species of birds and mammals can disappear. The drying up of African lakes will also lead to the extinction of many plant species. The situation will worsen due to the growing population of the continent, which by 2050 will increase from 1.25 billion to 2.5 billion people.

Scientists note that since the discovery of America, the diversity of species in the region has decreased by 31%. By 2050, this figure will reach 40%. The disappearance of many species will affect indigenous peoples. More than 60% of America's languages ​​and cultures are threatened with extinction.
