Do you have a Linky Brain?

Jason wrote about having a linky brain and I found myself nodding as I read.

While Jason is way more extroverted than I am, therefore those elements (like enjoying the sound of his own voice) are not something I can relate to, I can see myself in the rest. A choice selection:

I don't know what a LinkyBrain is... I honestly don't think any of us can define "it"... but we do "simply know" we have one; whatever that means...

I think at 10,000 miles per hour and often with 10,000 things at the same time.

This can be challenging when other people are trying to talk to us and instead we are away with our thoughts. There doesn't even need to be a phone in our hands ...

I love being with people, sucking in knowledge...
I love being with people, and giving that knowledge out too.

Way back when I took a teaching certification. The idea was to overcome my fear of public speaking, but instead, I discovered that I loved it. My blogging is also teaching in most cases.

I love being alone.... thinking, being left alone for the brain to repair and heal.

I don't love being alone, but I need to have alone time as much as I need my family and friends around me. Probably best way to describe it is I like being quiet while other people are around :)

I suffer from depression... the core cause of which is normally my own feelings of inadequacy and failure...

I love a puzzle...

I find it extremely hard to relax.... The brain is always churning over

We went to Hawaii for a week and I only started feeling like I had learned to go with the island flow on the thursday afternoon. I'm never relaxed, ever.

You may or may not see similarities but with me, but the traits of asking yourself,
"How?",
"Why?",
"What if?"
then working till you know the answer .... are what make me a Linky...

Any of that familiar to you?

I mentioned I am introverted. To add to that, I have constant anxiety and depression challenges. Plus, I lack confidence and self-esteem.

While obviously not the best way to get through life, I find it forces my brain to make unusual connections. It hasn't held me back as much as you would think, but I have been taken advantage of in business a few times due to my overly trusting nature and abhorrence of conflict.

This means I am risk averse and that holds me back from my more entrepreneurial instincts.

Yeah, I am painting a picture of a train wreck, but somehow it all works out!

You?

keep busy to get rid of it, and also meditate and listening to music.
