Travis Walton's 1975 experience in the Arizona Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest is one of the most "celebrated" of all UFO abduction cases - literally a classic with a book, movie and all the Hollywood trimmings. As some of you may know - I'm a long time UFO blogger....since 2007 with over 1,300 posts about the phenomena. I also have an interesting connection to the Travis Walton story. A close friend of mine who lived in Snowflake, Arizona at the time - which is the area Walton lived in too - an area where everyone knows everyone...especially in 1975 - he says Travis was known as an honest man.
