 Basil

Your massive palms of a beast handed me scissors. See those plants there? Flowers should be cut off or they will overgrow and soon will be gone. I could not disobey seriousness of your eyes. Peppery rich scent of basil engulfed smile impossible to hide. You spectated my every move. I love scent of basil you expressed not letting go of my hand before my escape.

Stars

Crackling footsteps on a gravel road made hair on the back of my neck stand. Darkness terrifies and thrills me. I breathed in silence mixed with crisp air and whispered Stars..against slightly light polluted horizon.

Red wine

‘Don’t drink and drive’ echoed in my ears. As I took my bike, I laughed at the silly echo. I stumbled and laughed again still tasting the red wine on my lips. Waves peacefully clashing against the coast, people talking strange tongues, having good time and distant music hovering over the night. Strange rush took over my being. Am I..high?

Painted trees

Aggressive 'on mission' attitude dissolved in joyous laughter sitting lotus on a wooden bench. Heat escaping through rosy cheeks, sweat making way down the spine. All of sudden dark shadows of the trees appeared as if they would have been painted. Too much oxygen to the brain? Chemical reaction.

Fighting to stay awake

Fucking hate goodbyes. If I rebelled against time, could I make it?

At this moment I use basil for... so many things at the kitchen!!! Love it!

I am still learning about different uses of 'king of herbs'.

It goes great with Tomato sauces, salads and certain types of cheese!

I love the postings you, language, emotion and yet attentive, learn where to write like that? what you learn from school literature?

Thank you. I am not sure anyone who have studied literature, especially in English would agree with you. English is not not my mother tongue. Expressing myself in any language has always been challenge. I live in my mind most of the time. This was my attempt to get some bits and pieces out, to see whether I actually can.

you sure did get more than just bits and pieces out of your mind.... this is an awesome work

Thank you so much @outhori5ed :)

this is really a great post...

Very nice
follow me and I follow you :D

Enjoyable read, thanks!

Thank you so much @old-guy-photos! :)

Had you ever considered taking up macro photography?

@lozt I always wanted to learn photography, but I also know how expensive all the equipment can be and somehow I've had different priorities. Then again I see people taking amazing photos with just their phones, so I guess no excuses? Hehe

Do you think I could?

Yeah, for sure! Your photos actually look very well done. Phones are great for photography, but its hard to change settings (and the megapixels are too small for business use), but other than that, you can totally use cellphones as long as there good lighting.

But if you want a DSLR, you don't need to buy the newest camera out there, just buy an old model and a used one. Even used lens isn't too expensive if stick with prime lens. (prime lens doesn't have zoom)

Basically, a photographer would likely three prime lens. 35mm 50mm, and 85mm These aren't too expensive and the funny thing is, they are sharper than a zoom lens. They are only cheaper because each of these lens only has one focal distance.

You should totally give it a try, or even with just a cellphone.

Funny thing is I recently bought new older model DSLR just for that purpose, to experiment and learn a thing or two :)

Which camera brand did you go with?

I went with Nikon D3300

#TeamNikon 😊

D3300 is a good choice. I like the UI they have on there. It's easy to understand whats going on with your aperture.
