Virtue signalling and spitefulness
I have just been reading through some posts, that are just virtue signalling BS, whose arguments can be dismantled, and blown apart in a few paragraphs.
I started writing such response to one of them, but I didn't post the comment.
Why?
1/ Because this guy had enormous power, and could kill my earnings potential.
2/ Because I have found, online and in real life, that when these virtue signalers, and social justice warriors, lose their argument , ( which they always will -through logic - it's inevitable.), they all become like petulant children. And very angry.
Discussing intellectual weakness, with an angry, petulant child holding a gun to your head, is not a good idea.
So how do we address this- or don't we?
If we don't, then the well meaning, but weak intellectual virtue signalers, will continue to live in a self delusional bubble of how correct (and good), they are....And miss out on education.
A conundrum...
ignore them.
most likely the reason they have a lot of steem power is that they bought it.
if everyone ignores them they certainly won't be gaining much.
If they get TOO obnoxious they'll piss off a whale. (bernie sanders being flagged to oblivion by Ned comes to mind)
eventually they'll wither on the vine and just go away.
but it cannnnnnnnnnnnt stop typing.
I managed to not to press post - at the very last second.
It really grates, not pointing things out, due to the power dynamics, it really does..
I like a good argument!

"Ahimsa" In the written word would be a intelligent creative way to address for all ......However before we start the journey one must be prepared within and to know "thy second birth" indeed is something.....
