It highlights the informationwar that's going on in the wider world right now , between logic and concept.
...And thus the reason 'the left' are collapsing at the moment. It's an economy (reality) built on clouds, not on the foundations built in reality.
The yellow jacket demonstrations in France is perfect example on how reality will overcome concepts (global governance, open borders,and climate change).

Postmodernism is based on concepts and the avoidance defining anything.

Without defining anything, there is no reality, and thus relies on the intellect of the postmodernist speaker to convince the listener of their personal perspective of the world.
Of their subjective reality being an objective reality.

Empirical facts destroy this reliance upon the speaker, and thus their influence. (power.)

Power given to the postmodernist with credence of the words, then evaporates with facts and definitions.
The world the postmodernist speaker has created in clouds comes crashing down....

At the end of the day people work in self-interest and if their interest is only in paying their bills, it doesn't matter how they go about it. It is the same as doing it only for profit, isn't it?

It's not the same in the slightest...Working to pay bills (debt) is not profit. It's acquiring the resources to maintain your life.

Long term rewards due to speculation and in excess of needs to live , is profit.. (similar your long term view on steemit).
Profit is good, not bad. Profit gives options.

It comes down to what we personally value and how we see the future as to the behavior of the present, and those who think short don't consider the ramifications of their actions by default.

I live in short time frames, but am aware of the future consequences of making my choices, and considered them deeply before making many of my decisions.....
People who live in the future don't see the things they have lost today...
The balance of the two, is the answer.

Small steps into oppression and tyranny and as long as they get what they want out, it is fine.

Oppression and tyranny only ever a rises when people are indebted to the system.

They are the debt slaves, and are not free.
There's a reason the banking system is set up like it its.
They want everyone in as much debt as possible.

As is often said, we create our world....

It's often said father Christmas delivers presents- it doesn't make it true.
We only create our subjective reality, the world not so much.

but what if we aren't creating anything of value or, we aren't creating at all?

We create carbon dioxide with every breath we take our entire life...

Creation is subjective, as is it's value.
There is no empiric measure of what is value .
The price discovery mechanism is the best one we have (in a free market - if it's not a free market, its a distorted and corrupt mechanism - as we have now).

Creativity is a dying art as individual consumption of mass produced content drives action.

Creativity is subjective, therefore not measurable in terms of quantity. Dying art happens, and new art emerges.
(My ancestors never used windows media editor edit , for example).

We want free of the 0.1 percent controllers but keep buying what they sell - product, ideas and habits.

If you are aware of the mechanism, and you continue to play the game - it can then only raise many self reflective questions as to the deeper motivations, to play . (if there is any other option).

Being unaware, is unaware - which is exactly why we are in this shite we are in right now..

If you buy debt, you are playing their game.
The 0.1% have no other game.
