The Daily Patriot has been on the ground in Paris. (the wine is fantastic, and whenever Patriot is in Paris, much time is spent on the ground..)
After some strong coffee, Patriot got off the ground, and did some reporting.
We found Paris in flames.
It felt like the whole of France were rising up in the streets, and marching down the Champs Eleysee.
The Police were having a hard time maintaining control, and were not only pelted with hard cheese, they were called rude names to.

And it is not only older people who are causing problems.
Now the disabled lot are getting in on the act, throwing abuse at brave security forces..
The anarchist in a wheelchair, surrounded by the poor policmean, was getting very aggressive, threatening to 'spit at the slimy frogs'.
Action had to be taken immediately and after discussing the course of action among the 23 officers, it was decided that he had to be taken out (of his wheelchair).
Three officers have been commended for bravery medals.
"He nearly ran over one of my toes," said one Policeman.
