Photo story - OUR SUPER EXTRA FANTASTIC NEW YEAR PARTY!!
Happy New Year Steemians!
Let me fill you in on some information. Already for 5 years I with another friend of mine have been organising New Year events. And not just a home party or a little get together. But a full blown, decorated, food, drinks, activities, games, photo wall party. This year another friend joined in considering that I've been super busy in Rome, so we really needed some extra help. And it was a great decision as it turned out to be the prettiest party we've had,
themed - Forest celebration!
It took countless hours of conferencing on Skype about the theme, preparations, props, games, invites and so on and so forth; it took 2 cars to go to the forest and bring all the goodies we needed for the decoration - moss, pine branches and even some trunks! It took 2 days to actually decorate everything and even more time to cook all the food -we got burned when one of the caterers turned out to be nothing but a liar but we ended up with having even better catering, so delicious and so so much food!
So here you can see some pictures during the preparation phase of the party!

We had to make a bunch of those, I think in total we had around 60 jars that we've turned into beautiful tablepieces
And those beautiful things - forest themed name tags that Elise, one of our friends made for welcome drinks.
Creation of the photocell took a really really long time.
And so we were done! Are you ready for the final result? Here is just a glimpse of it! :)
This was our New Year wish board. As you can see, crypto is one of them.
I hope you all had amazing night and have celebrated coming of the new year with your loved ones, with lots of love all around you, laughs and good emotions. After all, whatever setting you are in, the most important thing is to get that positive energy flowing. And would that be in a party, by the sea, on a couch, whatever, just keep that energy positive and be happy. :)

I am going away but time does not allow it, what should I do
Very cool party theme. I am soooo bad at presentation and preparation for things like this so it is a real pleasure to see others taking the time to make a party so cool looking. WEll done!
Thank you so much! We have had a bit of experience so this time it was much easier to put together. But the answer to everything is just try and eventually it will work out! :)
