Can we please move the !bookkeeping stats offchain?
Look, i love the ability to see my Steem Monsters/Drug Wars ROI so easily. Imo, its a great tool. I used to keep my own record manually before "bookkeeping" but i was nowhere as precise, so when this tool came along i was super happy with it.
And kudos to its creator @holger80.
But the tool has a problem. Because its so useful, folks keep on calling up the tool constantly and flooding up comment sections.
When i use the tool i try and call it up in one of my old payed out posts. Problem is that many people just dont care and spam any post related to the game they are pulling up the stats for.
I could use MUTE on "bookkeeping" but that would stop me from using it.
Theres another thing as well....
Do we really want to fill up the chain with information like this? Theres literally hundreds of calls per post. Take a look at the @drugwars posts and you will see that almost half the comments are from bookkeeping.
What i propose is that you move bookkeeping from STEEM offchain.
@holger80 ill ping you again. Could you go talk to guys like @steemchiller, @dragosroua, @penguinpablo and move the tool to "Steem World","Steem Supply" or "Steem Now", if thats possible, and shut down the service onchain? Or maybe build a front end yourself.
I just think its a bad idea letting this go on.

It is not my intention to spam the steem blockchain. The problem is that I'm a good python dev that has not a clue about frontend and JS coding.
Creating the bookkeeping bot is a much simpler task than creating a front end..
Give me some more time and I will work on a front end solution.
I do like to read the comments and it hasn't disturbed me so far. Especially if it is happening under related posts.

Unrelated question. Are there any resources on using Python to interact with the STEEM blockchain. Learning some basics for doing SDN, but wouldn't mind branching out in that direction too!

Off chain tool should also be simpler since you would not need to sign transactions to report data. If your code returns json then you could easily use vuejs to have two way binding and populate a frontend. So if someone types their name checks the service they want info on you just return the json load and loop over the object since the server already does the structuring for you.

Well sure, i still think those are no where as bad as Bookkeeping. I say move it all. Dont see a reason why all these things couldnt fit on a site like Steem World.

@holger80 has really inteteresing challenge ahead. His tool (I never used it myself) does seem to be "abused" and all those comments do look like a spam.

Ahm, there is no problem, only in the mind of people.
Im also use the bookkeeping service... on my own, 5-6 day old comments, where its not a spam. I write the command as reply to my own old comments. Easy, and doesnt need anything, just a little thinking.
Of course, i know, thinking is very, very hard, this is the reason, why dont like it most of the people.

If Drug Wars created their own ROI feature on their site it might help a little.
But what about Drug Wars' battle sharing? Tens of thousands of useless posts just for Drug Wars users to occasionally receive an upvote. I think Drug Wars themselves are the problem - they now need the beneficiary rewards from these posts to keep the daily rewards pot as high as possible.

"Useless, not useless".. im not trying to discuss the drug wars posts. Thats a seperate topic.
This is concerning the bookkeeping tool that covers not only drug wars but steem monsters and magic dice as well.
This tool has actual value and im not saying that it should be removed, rather moved somewhere else.
I was simply stating that there's other things that flood the Steem Blockchain far more than Bookkeeping does - I completely agree with you that if it could get moved elsewhere it should, but it does have far more value than other things.
