Blog #18: The price of being a Loser!

On recent days, I spent most of my free time to enjoy the major international multi-sport event, the Winter Olympics which took place in Korea this winter.

As we can see, in every game, the winners are always noticed most. This also happens in our daily life, the outstanding people usually draw much more attention than others.

But to me, I pay more attention to the losers, to the last runners of the game.

Being a loser?!

Noone wants to be the losers! Sure! When you are the defeated one, you would get yourself lots of negative feelings: impatient, sad, disappointed. Even you would be scared of the worry and judgment.
In comparison with the winners, the failures actually have to suffer a lot.

However, to me, the losers are the people who bring lots of insightful views. I am attracted by the runners-up. You can see in every game, every round, the runners-up still keep doing their work patiently no matter how the winner has reached the target.

It seems that they didn't play the game anymore, they were showing their effort, their high spirit of fair-play, their big ego, the symbol of their countries. Moreover, they wanted to win themselves.

Actually, the border between the loser and the winner is not clear. As well, we can't say for sure that who are always the worst nor who are always the best.

The price of being a Loser!

I have a favorite quote: "Winners are not afraid of losing but losers are. Failure is a part of the process of success. People who avoid failure also avoid success".

Yep, there is a fact that some winners keep rest on their laurels. They would feel satisfied with what they got and they didn't spend time and effort to try anymore.

But...

The losers wouldn't. They would keep up with more effort, they would try with higher levels, with more experience they got after each failure.

And more, the losers are taking step by step closer to the peak of success. They would have a wonderful road to experience and enjoy.

Being a loser it means that you are having more opportunity and challenge to discover this big world, this complicated surroundings.

Being a loser it means that you would have time to dig deep into yourself, to know who you really are, what you really need to do, where you really are standing.

Being a loser it means that you have more than one time to practice what you have learned to make it best

Being a loser it means that you would get your right way to receive and enjoy your success.

So don't be afraid of being a loser! You didn't fail, IT'S JUST A DELAY OF THE SUCCESS. Keep motivated, keep contributing, keep trying, keep patient and keep persistence!
