Hello steemian welcome to my daily science trivia, we talk about animals a mammalwhose young are born in an extremely immature state, we called it Marsupial. the newborn undergoes most of its development attched to one of its mother's nipple and nourished by her milk. Females of most marsupials have a pouch, called marsapium which protects the babies. there are about 270 species of marsupials, all of which live in ether america or australia asia. they include kangaroos, koalas, and opossums. kangaroos are the largset marsupials, most male red kangaroos stand about 1.8m tall. the smallest marsupials are the shrew like ningauis, weighing only about 3 grams. marsupial inhabit many different environments including forest, plains and desert.

The young tree dwelling marsupials, such as koalas and opossums, cling thier mothers back after they have left the pouch. they remain there until they no longer need the mums milk.
