Have you ever curious about the little country yet rich with gold? Check out these 5 interesting facts about Brunei as I discovered from my recent business trip.
FACT No. 1: FREE Education. Education in Brunei is fully funded by government including university abroad. Allow citizens to worry free while receive a quality education.
FACT No.2: FREE Medical Services. There is no medical charges to all citizens at government hospital except for Registration Fee @ B$ 1.00, private ward and certain dental procedures. If you’re a Brunei citizen with chronic illness you only need to pay B$ 1.00 including surgeries, drugs prescription and treatment.
FACT No.3: Income Tax. There is NO personal income tax to all citizens and to whoever works in Brunei for more than 183 days will be exempted as well. In other words, you get what you earn.

FACT No.5: It was reported that Brunei Darussalam has less than 50 taxi drivers in the country with limited public bus. It is because road tax in Brunei is relatively quite low compare to other countries and residents in average has 2 to 3 cars per home.
