Might actually be good to take a break from writing and explore this crazy space haha.. I dunno, I just find it fascinating because its shaking things up and showing us more about ourselves. But I certain have been writing lesser these days because of it!
It is interesting actually but sometimes it scares me as the technology is going so fast, you might break some bone doing it. Until I have my 660SP (as you mention comment above), I might need to just stick to writing... hahaha
