My FIRST 1st EVER Trip to A Big Box Costco Store! ✔ All Original Photos And Contents!
So my boyfrind finally broke down and paid the Executive Membership fee of $110.00 for 1 year. This membership comes with extra savings and coupons that will be mailed, an extra card , and if you spend over 2,000.00 dollars in one year, you recieve 300.00 dollars back! Thats a 190.00 dollar bonus after the yearly fee ! And with both of us useing the same membership at the cost of food these days, it wont be hard at all to spend $ 2,000.00 in one year!
So heres some photos i took , as this was also my first time in the store! it was quite an experience for me, as i have never even been in any kind of Big Box Store in my life! VERY OVERWHELMING! My son came along to help! This store sells everything! From electronics , clothing, food, tires, seasonal and more! All in bulk foods! Its like a huge warehouse!
THIS IS JUST ONE ROW OF MEAT ! THERES 4 MORE COOLERS IN THE MIDDLE! AND THE MEAT IS ALL WELL TRIMMED , VERY GOOD LOOKIN , EXCELENT QUALITY MEAT! THATS THE BAKERY IN THE BACK CORNER!
HERES MY SON WITH THE BASKET OF FOOD STUFF WE GOT FOR 68.00 DOLLARS! I JUST WANTED TO CHECK THE PLACE OUT SO NEXT TIME WE WILL GET MORE! ONCE I LEARN MY WAY AROUND BETTER! ITS A VERY BIG STOER FOR ME , AND IM JUST NOT USED IT! LOL! COUNTRY GIRL!
THATS A 32 PACK OF POP, EXTRA LARGE CAN OF COFFEE,SUPER PACK OF FRIES WHICH IS 4 PACKS IN ONE! 22 CHICKEN LEGS, 15 PACK BOX OF ENGLISH FISH , BLOCK OF CHEESE , MILK! SO VERY GOOD VALUE! I WAS QUITE IMPRESSED!
I hope you liked my tour of our Costco Store here in Kelowna British Columbia Canada! You should check it out sometime if you have one in your area! They used to be only available if you owned a business! Where you get even more savings! I enjoyed it , and will enjoy it even more once i learn where everthing is ! Lol! I didnt even make it the canned goods section where their must be really good case lot sales on soup , tomatoes etc. ! STEEM ON ! ♨😉👍♨

dude, totally worth it. you'll make your money back many times over in a year.
and the quality for the price is actually pretty good at costco. a lot of times, the kirkland brand stuff is really name brand produced goods that's been rebranded.
also, costco's really good for prepping if you're into that :)

lol I assumed everyone that shops at Costco would know the term. It's a recently popularized term that refers to people who either gather/store supplies for emergencies (which everyone should) or people who prepare specifically for some kind of disaster that will probably happen in the near future (typically used in a derogatory manner). I think it can be a hobby too (collecting tools and weapons is fun XD), but that's my personal view on it. I suppose it's slightly better than wasting money on completely useless stuff. Anyway, it's made Costco very popular among the prepper communities because you can get stuff that you use everyday, but in bulk to store for emergencies and save money. Yup, prepping makes sense financially, if you get stuff that you're sure to use up anyway, and/or if you expect inflation (which we should, as the Fed has indicated).
You are so right! Once i hopefully move back to the country next summer , with steemits help that is ! Lol! I will definately be buying more in bulk as its an hour drive to town, from Beaverdell so stocking up and "prepping "as you explained so well , will be a number one priority! As Beaverdell is also up in the mountains and we quite often do get snowed in or we need to wait at times for plows to go through , at least i will have food to eat lol! the only store we miss from the states is Costco. When you go back, look at the berries and you'll probably notice that they are from here in Chile. STEEM ON!

You'll also notice that Costco's return policy is really good. You can buy something, eat half the box, and then return it if you didn't like it. They don't care as long as you're satisfied. You also don't have to worry about keeping your receipt because it's all stored on your membership.
That is really cool to know! I knew about the 90 day return policy on most things, but not about returning it without a reciept ! But it makes since now, as it keeps record of your purchases for the bonus and discounts! Thanks for the information and replying! Steem on! I am now a follower ! ♨🖒👍♨

I actually cant wait to go back to Costco when i have more time! I would like to see all the stuff they offer! When i first went in there was alot of TVs and laptops and cell phones!
