Moving in to the Anarcho-KafkA Steem Shack tomorrow. Big Weekend Ahead!
I mentioned a few weeks ago the fam and I are moving into a new house. A very large and sprawling Japanese...well, what would be called in the American English parlance, a “farm-house,” really.
Anyway, I’m finally going to have an office of my own! It’s on the second floor and there’s a nice view of the trees on the hill opposite. There’s also a sweet osmanthus tree right across the way. I’m set!
The owl is right at home here in the middle of the woods. I forgot to take a picture of the framed/preserved giant stick bugs from Singapore we found left behind in the closet. I’ll have to do that tomorrow and perhaps post later.
Anyway, with planned themes of whisky, intense-looking owls, treasure, and bizarre entymological souvenirs, I’m aiming to weird out and oust anyone that isn’t a true believer in the “order of KafkA” from our new little hermitage here :) (which is actually much bigger than our current abode).
Last night here in the city! Tomorrow it’s to the country we go! Wish us luck!

When I was a kid, Japan was probably my number one dream location to live, and especially somewhere in rural Japan, the big cities never really appealed to me.
