Infura API is restricting features of Free Plan
First, they restrict the number of API keys for free users to 1 only and also rate limit to 10 Requests per second. Now, they even restrict the "view stats" to only 1 hour.

Lucky that I found Alchemy which is far generous. I am now using Infura API as a backup API for steem2eth swap tool.
It is always a good idea to have plan B even plan C...
