Continued High CPU Usage (PHP-FPM)
Earlier, it was observed that the CPU usage spiked for a longer period of time than expected. I took a deep dive and found no usual activity. However, it was mainly caused by PHP-FPM process.
The logs are fine - and not much traffic from bots. so I guess it is due to configurations/settings.
The php-fpm is set to "ondemand" mode with a pm.max_children set to 64. It is running on a 4 Core - 6 GB VPS as shown above.
I have in the meantime set a rate-limiting rule to the / e.g. what-ever traffic comes in for about 1 visit per second.
I will closely monitor this.

Not that I'm any kind of expert or specialist in this, but when I took my macbook to the repair shop, they recommended me to install various programs like iStat Menus to keep track of all aspects of the system without any complicated actions. I read more about it in article https://setapp.com/how-to/kernel-task-high-cpu, but did I understand anything? Not really. If you can explain to me more clearly why I need to keep track of these parameters and what this knowledge will do for me, I'd be happy to.
