its little bit strange to shoot to face for me too. but i use 35mm lens and really would like to be closer. so i don't mind in some situations. just going to crowded places..
Yeah crowded places are awesome, people do not tend to notice you. 35 mm means you have to get quite close!
and with the film Ricoh i use 28mm but this camera is very tiny :-)
