====== Tragedy Strikes Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School ====

1 Dead, 14 Injured

In yet another horrific incident involving automatic weapons, alleged Nikolas Cruz used an AR-15 to enter Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and fire rounds that injured fourteen students and killed another seventeen victims. Police restrained and arrested Cruz outside of the school soon after the shooting.

History of Weapon Collection

Cruz flaunted his weapon collection on his Instagram profile which shows both his arsenal and his accuracy on the shooting range. Other students noticed Cruz's eradict behavior,

‘I stayed clear of him most of the time. My time in alternate school, I did not want to be with him at all because I didn’t want to cause any conflict with him because of the impression he gave off.’

Other students explained that his actions were predictable.

New Era of Shootings

One of the noticable differences about this shooting from others is the inclusion of technology within the coverage of the shootings. This shooting was the first major incident where students within the school used their cell phones to document their terror.
