Steemit MILESTONE! - 5,000 + FOLLOWERS!

Hi everyone! Just after posting my previous post about people who everyone should follow on Steemit I noticed that my followers have gone up substantially! I'm now above 5,000!

I couldn't thank you all enough! This has been a life changing journey for me. Being in the independent media field for years and slowly watching my channel get further demonetized and censored as well as Facebook blocking me from sharing my videos (and when they allow me, not letting anyone see my posts), Steemit was one of the biggest discoveries I've ever made.

Alongside Steemit, DTube finally gave me an alternative to YouTube and seeing as uploading a video gets queued to 220th place shows that there's a great diversity of people coming to the platform and posting! This is HUGE!

Having the chance to know many of the top Steemians in person as well as having recently interviewed @Dan, the co-creator as well has given me all the more faith in this incredible platform! It means I don't have to worry about my media crashing and burning. It means I can continue to bring this information to people world wide. It means I can join a community of people who care about their public individual demand as they would in real life. There's no incentive to be a troll on Steemit considering the reputation system. People talk to each other as they would if they were face to face unlike other social media platforms.
