Recipe for lentil croquettes
Hi guys, today I bring you another recipe, not as healthy as the ones I have shared since it is a fry.
In Venezuela there was an abundance of lentils this year, to the point that you have to invent preparations to not get bored, one of them was the lentil croquettes.
I have already shared the benefits and cons of the vegetables in a post I did some time ago, so here I will only talk about the recipe.

Ingredients (4 servings):
- 1 and a half cups of lentils
- 1 onion
- 5 Sweet pepper
- Garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon and a half of wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon of corn flour.
Preparation
Let the lentils soak for at least 4 hours, drain the water and rinse.
On the other hand, we wash and cut half an onion and the sweet peppers.
Then we went through a food processor or mill together with half an onion.
To the mixture add the half onion and chili cut into small squares, I like to place it in this way because they are better tasting, we also add a tablespoon and a half of wheat flour and a tablespoon of pre-cooked corn flour also known as flour nixtamalized corn.
Then we make some balls (or any shape) and fry them over medium-high heat, careful not to over fry because they burn easily and the taste is not good.
Tip: with that amount of flour is not so compact or malleable, but to put more flour changes and taste and is not what we want.
