I Hope You Dance
Last night, I went to a Chicago Stepping dance contest that my friend’s partner was competing in. Before the contest began, I was asked to dance a couple of times by men who know that I know how to step. I am just barely walking in shoes without the orthopedic boot. Even though my ankle was not hurting, it was still slightly swollen and I did not want to take a chance at re-injury. It’s still too early for me to return to all of my former activities.
While I watched the contest and watched other people dance and have fun, this song came to my mind.

I looked up the lyrics when I got home, because this song was still on my mind. When I read the lyrics, and the "lay off" post by @Ned this morning, I felt that the lyrics were also appropriate for those Steemians who are staying on board the Steemit platform.

I have always loved this song and once created a video for my granddaughter including pictures of her dancing and doing very cute things.
I’ll bet that was a nice video. Your granddaughter will also appreciate it as she grows older.
