KINDNESS GOES A LONG WAY
Sadly, It is quite a common thing for people to judge others - being unkind and insensitive without truly knowing or understanding the reasons why a person is the way they are. – I find this terribly sad, because nobody has ever walked in another person’s shoes, nor travelled their path and therefore they have no right to cast judgement on them.
The reality is, you know absolutely nothing of their story, their journey - not their sufferings endured nor trials faced and in my opinion, what really needs to be remembered is... it is all of these things that shape them into the individual they become, which is also essentially the reason for their decision making.
So many people walk around with smiles plastered on their faces yet they might be dealing with something enormously painful underneath - you can just NEVER know! So try not to be so quick to write them off with stamps of disapproval.
Perhaps if everybody stopped themselves in a moment of judgement on another for whatever reason and looked instead at the person underneath with compassion, understanding and love - the world would probably be a much more pleasant place to live in.

I am a total sucker for anything motivational and/or inspirational, I often spend a good amount of time browsing quotes online to share with followers on various other platforms so I figured why not make it a daily habit here on Steemit too ;)
Despite the fact that I am a complete and utter tech junkie and I love so much about our modern world - (yes, there is a lot that I DON’T like as well… but keep up people… this is a happy hippy post), I have often considered the fact that I might have been born in the wrong era.
I have an insatiable love for anything 60’s!
So here I sit - in the 21st century, perhaps minus the bell bottoms but definitely not without the happy spirit, excessive array of colour (everywhere) and juuuuust a few gadgets to boot…he he!

The beauty of kindness is it’s easy to practice. We encounter numerous opportunities during an ordinary day. For example: Hold a door open for someone. Offer a pleasant greeting to people you encounter, whether it is a smile, nod or comment. People appreciate being acknowledged. Thank people who help you. I personally thank cashiers by name. This has surprised a few, who then asked how I knew their name. I respond, I read your name tag. This usually results in us sharing a laugh.
I challenge everyone who reads @jaynie’s post today to consciously perform acts of kindness today. Then return tomorrow and leave her a comment telling her about one act of kindness you performed.
Together we can show @jaynie the power of her words and make the world a little more pleasant by practicing kindness.
Kindness definitely goes a long way and it creates a ripple that starts touching everyone around. When one person gets touched by it, he creates another ripple and this is how kindness makes a difference in the world.
Exactly: being right today does not mean to keep on being right tomorrow or in some period of time but being kind is good: firstly, right for you and your interior and as a result for those who are around, today, in a week, forever. Peace

Nice one. I do say this always "Never Judge someone until you've heard their stories". For every action they take, something must have prompted it which you may not know and tend to judge them wrongly.
Some people go around depressed almost every minute of the day but still cover up with a beautiful smile.
We should be kind to everyone and say nice words to people cos we never know what they're passing through.
Trust me, Nice words can go a long way to heal a broken heart.
