Mystery damsel

She walked slowly along the bank of the river. Her dark hair billowing in the gentle evening breeze. Her skin glowed, kissed by the rays from the setting sun. The river was hers to take and this she knew.
Her hips swayed to the rhythm of the water tide that could be heard by her alone and all we could do was watch from a distance as she became one with the world around us.
And then the unthinkable, she looked into my eyes and it was like she had peered into my privacy. I felt naked before her and so I looked. I clawed my way into eyes in a desperate attempt to clasp on to whatever I find and found nothing.
Her eyes were just as empty and held even more questions about her existence. I peered in closer and there it was, a hint of pain. There was a longing to her gaze as her eyes beheld mine with such whimpering authority.
She urged me to come closer and my feet moved without my will. I was face to face with the one no one knew. I could hear the screams of others, begging me to retreat. However, it was too late and this she knew. I trailed my eyes down her body, taking to heart every slender curve. And then, she turned, facing the river and said to me, "Have you seen my lover"?
With these words, a fountain of tears caressing her cheeks on its way down. "Oh, don't cry my lady", I said, with the aim of pacifying her. I was ready to give my lifeso as for her not to shed tears any longer.
"How can I when there's no one to love me?", she said amidst tears. The next words which spiraled out of my mouth were "I'll love you till the end of forever my lady". Her face lit up with joy and she took my hand, leading me into the river. She sang a sweet song, which soothed my soul. We edged deeper into the river and farther from the bank. I was overjoyed to be with her and no one else was.
It was a classic lust tale. She was a damsel in distress and I was her knight in armor.
