Cute story Paul. Thanks for sharing! What is the occult significance of Spooner Lake if it has any at all? Maybe its the place both the left and the right go to drown their egos?
I always figured that some of the original builders of the towns were anarchists, and the lake is named after Lysander Spooner. It's possible that some of those original builders stayed in Lakeland after the twin town complex was completed, but since I haven't really finished writing the story, I'm not sure about that yet!
