RE: Brekkie Plate - Breakfast For The Rough Mornings
Looks like a great breakfast for the day after... Hope you're feeling better. I like how you're calling it "borrowing happiness from tomorrow". That's exactly what it feels like! :)
Yeah it was a rough Saturday! But a Sunday full of surfing made it a good weekend in the end.
Even was so lucky to stumble upon a seal just a couple of meters from my board!
I stole the happiness saying from one of my friends, and yes, it is very true!
Thanks for stopping by!
Sounds like a great cure for a hangover. Getting into the water is perfect :) Must have been awesome to see a seal! I was surfing in Hawaii once, and the same happened to me. I got very scared at first, but it was just a playful seal. Later on I saw a turtle as well. Lovely and exciting experience!
Yeah i freaked out too for a second. They are hige when you see them up close! I really want to visit Hawaii one day for a longer period. Dont know why but that place looks so interesting to me
You should visit Hawaii, it's a wonderful place! I've been there twice, alone, both on Oahu and Kauai. One of my best friends live over there so when the kids are a bit older (and we have enough money) we will take them with us to visit them. It's paradise! :)
Ooh having people you know there is really nice! I did a lot of traveling in the US because I know a few people there. None in Hawaii though :) The thing with Hawaii is the flight time you need just to get there from europe... :)
It’s always great to know people around the world, traveling is a lot about the people you meet😊. I know, flight time to Hawaii is horrible... I’ve never done it directly, but after a week or longer stop in San Francisco, and then continuing to Australia after the Islands. Need to have a lot of time to spend when traveling that far!
Yes I 100% agree! I think often it is even nicer to visit friends than to visit a random city without knowing anybody. You can see your friends' city in their way. Go to their favorite places, and meet their good friends etc.
Funny enough my girlfriend's parents are in Los Angeles. We've been there a lot, but never made the leap to visit Hawaii! Every time we have too much stuff to do with her family. I guess we just have to all go there together next time we go :P
yes, definitely something about seeing it the way the locals do. So much more rewarding! Sounds like you have a great opportunity to visit Hawaii in the future with parents-in-law in LA! Then it's only a short flight away :)
