Students protested in Shahabag, Dhaka

The highways of Bangladesh are quite hot today. University students protest at the main main roads. The only demand is the quota reform in the job field. Protests spread throughout Bangladesh. University students of the divisional cities are also coming down the street. Various professional organizations are in solidarity with them.

Suddenly why the student community became a demonstration. Why is this reform so long after? If you want to know the reason behind it, you have to go back. Initially, the quota was introduced in Bangladesh during the time of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of Bangladesh. Of course, in 1972, there were only 17 districts in the country. And in all, the number of quota for employment was 35. Although it was said that it was a temporary arrangement for the underdeveloped country.

Today is the year 2018 the number of districts in the country 64. There are 258 quota seats, including women quota, freedom fighter quota, tribal quota, disabled quota, talent quota and different number of quotes. Because of which the meritorious students are becoming helpless because of the jobs. In spite of not being able to qualify, some people are getting very easy jobs in the reference to quota.

The country is going forward day by day. The university is growing. But shrinking job market. It is a matter of anger for the students. However, one thing is to note that three times the Public Administration Reform Commission was formed in Bangladesh. Three suggested that the quota system should be lifted. But no one has seen success.

The country's highway is now swollen. Students are all demonstration oriented. What the government announces, what is the end, everyone is waiting for it!
