Photo Memories: My 2018 So Far (as told by the boring photos in my phone)
This is me as of 1 week ago.
I've come a long way since January's hair cut!
My year started off skint and quiet. My part-time job was non-existent for the first few months as it is their quiet time of year. So i was stuck inside conjuring up other things to do, and for a week a managed to stay hooked playing Sims 4.
(This is me and my good friend @decryptamine - we ended up getting stuck working hard, had a baby way too early, and lived out a boring routined lifestyle with very little money... I'm not very good at playing the Sims haha zzz )
(This is @mobbs and @stoopid who visited a lot in my boring verison of the game)
It wasn't long before I realised real life is so much better. So the game left my veins never to be played again.
So at some point I got creative....
and made a colourful mess.
One day of rummaging through my collection of junk (aka treasures), led me to find an old TV licence belonging to my Grandad from the early 1960's. £3 for the year back then, I think it's at £120 nowadays.
We had a crazy cool snow day which I spent all afternoon on the park, counted 96 snowmen, a mini igloo and a giant penis before giving up with maths and just enjoyed the rare wonderland day.
I did some volunteering for the NHS which involved visit hospitals to audit the health and safety aspects of things. It was very insightful and felt great to see any problems we pointed out, things such as water on all patients bedside, changing the way meals were collected to be able to recognise if someone didn't eat their food, revamping the childrens mental health menu... things you would like to think are so obvious and simple, you epect them to be done...but these visits sure showed me how scatty and disorganised everything really is... but also how easy it can be to make changes!
After so much going on I needed a drink in April. So I went across the road to a pirate pub.
I started learning more about Ketamine
Rescued a giant of a spider from the shower
And a 2 spotted black lady bird which taught me just how well reviewed ladybirds are in the world and our history. All meaning some kind of good fortune, tidings or luck. They truly are awesome creatures! I highly recommend googling about them.
And within days I found myself saving yet another one
And so on and so on, the most coolest one I saw had 22 spots!
But then in other amazing news of 2018, me and my friend planted and raised a weed seed...
who we have named Hawking2.
Our first plant called Hawking collapsed under its own weight and died a couple of days before real life Hawking died. So Hawking2 is now bringing up the rear growing into a fine young specimen.
And my brother @Mobbs came to visit me and Bubble
To keep things calm I bought Bubble a pigs leg...it was so big and grim!
I saw a beautifully orange sunset across the park in front of where I live
I saw a gorgeous moon and star night that my phone camera doesn't do any justice to what my eyes saw that night
And after all that I realised I was so much in love with this amazing guy I met, I couldn't help but express myself in kidney bean language
Welcome, grottbags! Wish you the best journey here in this loving and caring community :) It is my pleasure to meet you.
By the way, there are several groups you as a newcomer can join. They will stay with you for your journey, helping and mentoring along the way.
