Esperienza al Palaghiaccio di Roccaraso

Ieri io e i miei amici avevamo intenzione di trascorrere una giornata un pò diversa dal solito, anche perchè sono pochi i giorni dell'anno in cui si può uscire tranquillamente perchè non si lavora.

Di pomeriggio presto abbiamo iniziato ad organizzare le macchine e a decidere dove andare. La meta scelta è stata " Palaghiaccio G. Bolino - Roccaraso " , lontano circa 40km dal nostro paese.

Eravamo tutti così emozionanti e forse anche un pò titubanti perchè nessuno prima di noi avevamo mai pattinato e vi è sempre quel minimo rischio che cadendo in modo superficiale ci si possa fare tanto male. Arrivati lì abbiamo dovuto aspettare un'ora per il nostro turno e ci siamo intrattenuti giocando ai vari simulatori di guida e di scii che il luogo offriva.

Giunto il nostro turno eravamo tutti ansiosi di provare; il primo impatto è stato fatale. Appena messi i piedi sul ghiaccio abbiamo iniziato a scivolare e vedere i vostri amici che non riuscivano a stare in equilibrio era molto divertente poichè sapevamo già che noi stessi eravamo nella stessa identica situazione.

Dopo circa 20 minuti ( il turno durava 50 minuti ) abbiamo iniziato a prendere confidenza con il movimento ,soprattutto perchè vi erano persone particolarmente brave da imitare, e siamo riusciti a staccarci dal perimetro non senza qualche caduta. Alcuni del nostro gruppo si sono arresi subito e sono usciti , oppure sono rimasti tutto il tempo fermi. Altri invece si sono avventurati e anche se cadevano si rialzavano e provavano ancora. E' stata un'esperienza bellissima, abbiamo scoperto che pattinare non è poi così difficile, basta capire alcuni movimenti base che si apprendono facilmente in 20 minuti.

Il pub e il cibo

Dopo esserci cambiati abbiamo deciso di andare a mangiare qualcosina di buono nel paese lì vicino.

Un nostro amico ha scelto il posto e fidatevi se vi dico che era difficile scegliere di meglio. Accogliente, birra artigianale,panini buoni e grandi, servizio al tavolo immediato ; insomma era stata veramente una scelta ottima.

- Hamburger di Chianina 200 gr.
- Pomodori e insalata
- Scamorza fusa con salsa balsamica.

Vi posto qui di seguito un paio di foto dell'entrata di questo locale, che a primo impatta potrebbe anche sembrare un posto rustico; ma il cibo era di alta qualità e il rapporto qualità prezzo molto favorevole.

Experience at the Palaghiaccio of Roccaraso

Yesterday I and my friends I'm going to spend a day a bit 'from the usual, because they are a few days when you can safely because you do not work.

In the early afternoon we started buying the cars and choosing where to go. The choice was " Palaghiaccio G. Bolino - Roccaraso ", far about 40km from our country.

We were all so exciting and a bit 'more than ever, it's never so simple that you can say it's that simple. Arrived there we had to wait for our ride and we were entertained by playing the various driving and skiing simulators that the place offered.

When our turn came we were all anxious to try; the first impact was fatal. As soon as we entered the ice we started to get in balance was very funny because we already knew that we are in exactly the same situation.

After about 20 minutes (the turn lasted 50 minutes) we began to become familiar with the movement, because for them there were no difficulties. Some of our group immediately surrendered and left, or they are closed all the time. Others, on the other hand, ventured, and even if they fell they rose and tried again. It was a beautiful experience, we found that skating is not that difficult, just understand some basic movements that you learn easily in 20 minutes.

The pub and the food

After changing, we decided to go and eat something good in the village nearby.

A friend of ours has chosen the place and trust me if I tell you that it is difficult to choose better. Cozy, craft beer, good and big sandwiches, immediate table service; in short, it was really a good choice.
