Taking a break from blogging and Your Daily Verse
I'm writing this simply to let those of you whom I love to interact with here on Steemit know that I'm taking a small break from the platform. After my Easter break, I haven't enjoyed the platform as much. With everything else I have going on right now, like writing a thesis, taking care of my family and starting a business, I don't want to spend my time on things I don't enjoy. I will miss sharing Your Daily Verse with you, but I have plans to start that up on my facebook page soon. If you are on facebook I'd love for you to come join me.
I've been praying over this for a while. Actually, Easter was like a test run to see what life would be without Steemit. The result? A lot calmer with one less thing on my plate. I don't know if or when I will return. I might pop in with an update every now and then. I will miss you guys for sure.
@allforthegood made a beautiful piece of printable art, which I'll be using in my business. I'll leave you with it today. Remember you can buy all her gorgeous prints in her Etsy store and support one of our own at the same time. This verse is what spurs me on to continue working and which prompts me to frequently reassess the things I do. Being on Steemit was turning into something I was doing for man and not the Lord, so at least for a while I feel led to step back from it. I have not decided if I'm going to stop reading and commenting. Only that I won't be posting for a while. Until we meet again, I wish you bountiful blessings and whatever you do, may you work heartily as unto the Lord and not for men.

Sorry to hear this but you have to do what is best! If you do decide to comment from time to time please say hi on my devotions that I post!
I will :)
One thing I find that really helps on steemit is only following people who offer edifying and uplifting posts. Reading and commenting requires so much less time than creating and monitoring posts on steemit. I hope you would consider remaining on steemit, even if limited, just so we can keep in touch. Steemians are dropping like flies, these days.
I know what you mean about this, I took a break from Steemit for a while because it was taking too much of my time. I'm learning how to balance things a bit better now.
Blessings to you for your new business! Stay frugal! Steem on!
@ironshield
Thank you so much. I would love to stay in touch too. I might have to do yet another following clean up, but not right now :)
