So much has changed - for the better.

Huhu... Anybody out there?

It's been a while. 3 months actually. I really enjoyed the break, so much I wasn't even sure I wanted to come back. But more about that later, let's see what has changed since we last spoke.

Changes

  1. We are no longer planning on moving any time soon. Actually, we are planning to stay in our little flat for 3-5 years at least at this point.

  2. We bought a big used caravan! It's 6.5m long and a beauty inside.

  3. My thesis is DONE! It's not yet handed in, but it is effectively done and it has freed up so much creative energy in me.

  4. I've completely changed gears in my little business and I'm now working on launching a blog on 'Thriving on Tiny' in October.

  5. My Pinterest marketing affiliate incomes kept plummeting, I do no active work on it now, but it does generate a tiny passive income every month. The payout is €100 and at this rate, it will take years to get there so I don't focus on it at all.

Why I'm back

I missed you guys! It's as simple as that. I miss having an outlet outside of the blog I'm working on for random updates about my electricity conservation efforts and all the good conversations we have had about that and so much more. I also missed setting goals publicly and working hard to achieve them.

The plan

The plan is - there is no plan. I'm not going to revive Your Daily Verse. I'm only going to write when I feel like it for now. I had powered down my account, thinking I wouldn't come back and that I could use the money in my business. It has been wonderful to have that cash on hand and I've put it to use! At the moment, the one plan I do have is to generate enough Steem to be able to vote on my friends again.

Over the coming weeks I have a number of posts I'd like to get out of my head and into the blockchain on various updates here. The electricity project is going strong and we are about to get another factor in that project, which I'm really excited about.

Until next time, I hope you stay well and steem on.

Hello @frugallady ....I am still here plugging away day but day! Good to see you back and to hear that we will be seeing a bit more from you soon! As for me I'm still posting a daily devotion and mixing in some other random things as they come up!

Glad your back! I think Steem is low right now, but that means only one way left to go right? @ironshield

Yes, I hope so.
I'm glad to be back too. I really missed some of you. You and your wife included. :)

Good to see you back! I go through spurts where I just can't get a post out and have to be content doing a little curating, but the thought of shutting the account down makes me feel pretty sad.

I'm sorry to hear the Pinterest marketing is fading. There are so many ads showing up on my Pinterest page these days - I wonder if there might just be too much diluting the system now.

I think it might be more of a case of a bad choice of middleman on my part, but hey there was no way I could foresee that and you live and learn, right?!
It made me sad too, which is why I never pulled the plug.

Great to see you back on the steemchain.

And congratulations on finishing the thesis.

Thank you it's wonderful - both to be back and have finished the beast of a paper.
