Thank you! We tried to do some plants in containers before we moved onto our homestead last year and it was really hit or miss. I think they need a bit more love grown that way or more nutrients. You should look into small scale hydroponic/aquaponics though! I have seen quite a few folks living in cities that were able to successfully grow food on their balconies using those techniques. Even growing some greens is a great way to save money and add some homegrown goodies to the table.
