I’ve not played Ark in a while. I know they had Extinction expo come out not to long ago. Was it that or a player created map? Just did not feel like getting it and it was getting a little too far away from the kind of game I enjoy.
There are some amazing player created ones I’ve been waiting for them to update for a while now. Like Valhalla if I remember correctly. Was mostly waiting for the mod pack Ark Steampunk to roll out some new content.
I've never tried a player created map yet! Maybe I should do so once I get bored of Extinction. Never used mods either, though hubby's been pointing a few out to me. So far, I've just been wanting the game 'the way it was created', but maybe eventually it'll be fun to try something extra.
Once you start moding it can get overboard. Anytime I play with my one friend its 20 or more mods some of them I swear are pointless. Between that and maps it can really change up the game and make it more fun again.
