♔♞♙ Chess Puzzle of the Day

I couldn't stop commenting on this position. White's dominance is overwhelming and is very reminiscent of one of the famous games of AlphaZero, an artificial intelligence chess program developed by a Google subsidiary. Although its results and the way they have been released are a bit "sensationalistic" for experts in the field, the style and strength of that engine has been quite peculiar and cannot detract from its creators.

Anyway, Black is just a few moves away from being zugzwang, if not already. The position of their rooks is miserable and White can play at will here. In fact, they can draw a nice checkmate in a few moves that I invite you to delight in finding.

No podía dejar de comentar sobre esta posición. El dominio de las blancas es abrumador y recuerda considerablemente a una de las famosas partidas de AlphaZero, un programa de ajedrez de inteligencia artificial que una empresa filial de Google desarrolló. Aunque sus resultados y la manera como se han dado a conocer son un poco "sensacionalistas" para los expertos en la materia, el estilo y fuerza de ese motor ha sido bastante peculiar y no se le puede restar mérito a sus creadores.

En fin, las negras están a pocas jugadas de quedar en zugzwang, si es que ya no lo están. La posición de sus torres es miserable y las blancas pueden jugar a placer aquí. De hecho, pueden desenfundar un bien bonito jaque mate en pocas jugadas que te invito a deleitarte encontrar.
