The Cost of Knowledge
Like it was in ancient times
Same as it is today
Knowing can be such a burden
Being too smart a curse
I envy the simple man
Who takes actions without thinking
Enjoys life to the fullest
And leaves the World fulfilled
Unfortunately we can't live that way
We get to a point of knowledge
everything becomes a conundrum
Every answer leads to more questions
Stressed and depressed the lot are
Some shed their smarts just for joy
Afterall the truly smart ones know this
Their knowledge is but a tiny piece
