I wonder if people realize sometimes
That our actions have consequences
I mean really see
That we control what will be

Our generation was one of privilege
made better by Those before us
We take their sacrifices for granted
Our blessing becomes a curse

The World will be much different
For our loved ones and children
Only pain is they have no hand
In their ancestors fool's errand
