Staring at a blank wall
The wait feels as an eternity
Like watching paint dry
Missing out on vanities

Second doubts and guesses
Setting up the records
Telling that's it no use
Waiting too long an abuse

Probably not worth the wait
But too far down that road
Turning back ill only be self hate
So doing whatsoever rocks that boat

I'll see you at the finish
Satisfying the urge with judgement
Happy to outlast the anguish
Triumphant even if over nothing
