You don't need to impress anyone before they accept you. Those that would accept you would accept you without impressing them and those that would not would not even if you try to impress them.....
Don't give yourself unnecessary pressure while trying to please people, no matter how hard you try those that won't accept you would not accept you. Just keep performing at your very best and let those that deserve you see you and appreciate you for whom you are and not for who people want you to be.
To enjoy yourself, you have to be yourself, trying to be someone else would deny you the right of being yourself
