Lake Wanaka Outlet Track

We went over to Wanaka today for a walk, just for a change of scenery.

The track is 3km one way and follows the lake to Albert Town. There's lots of places to stop and take in the views or have a rest.

We took a picnic lunch and had our food on the beach front.

This time of year we had the track and beach mostly to ourselves. Just how I like it!

    Just how we would like it too. It looks gorgeous. I get it was cold, but unlike Wellington. its not a biting cold, without the full force of the southerly.
