Man, going to have to learn about all the conflicts that are going on on this platform. Still new with only 28 days under my belt.

The surface is nice and jolly, but there seems to be a strangely sinister underbelly in the developers/witness corner. When you look at the accounts (and 2nd accounts) of the first users on the platform (account >=1 year), you will see that they all made immorally much money over the course of the past half year and especially in the past 3-4 months. My impression is that this messed in the brains of some of the bigshots and got them completely corrupted.

Normally, when a startup lifts off you have plenty of professionals taking care that the founders stay in check (business angels etc), but here it's a bit lot of anarchy that drives the dynamic along with several factors of more money shimmering on the horizon.

At best, you stay out of the politics. If not, you need the ambition to become a witness and for that you need A) ambition, B) programming skills, C) some cash to invest and D) a thick skin.

If you don't have that take what's good on the platform and leave and ignore the rest. Well, at least I'm trying to make that my strategy.

I shall keep all of that advice in mind. For now, I'm just gonna get my feet underneath me and find like-minded people :)
