We all have one point felt some sort of negative energy around us. You may even be feeling it now and it’s sort of weighing you down, depressing you, hindering you from connecting with people and things around you, making you aggressive unnecessarily and a whole lot more.


Being surrounded with negative energy is a very sad way to live I’m not sorry to say that. Persons that emit this kind of energy should be avoided totally because not only does the energy wear on you, it deprives you of being a better person. You may be wondering how to know such people, well here’s how: they are always critizing and I mean always!!!. Down to the color of someone’s shoes or how funny someone’s legs look. They complain about literally everything, have negative relationship with other people, blame others for all their misgivings etc. Wondering how to deal with such energy? I got you covered because below are 5 tips on how to do so.
  1. Leave that Negative Energy Field: The surrounding or environment where this energy is emmited is the negative energy field. So if you find yourself constantly in this field, leave!!. If per adventure or circumstances you can’t leave, look for a means to change the topic and clear the air. Never stay in a negative energy field no matter how short the period. A lot can change in your life in a couple of seconds.

  2. Surround Yourself with People that Uplift You: The saying “show me your friend and I’ll tell you who you are” is a wise one reason being that from the company of friends you keep or people you associate yourself with, one can tell the kind of person you are. If you surrounded by friends with such energy (negative energy i.e.), change friends!. You are not obligated to be anybody’s friend. Surround yourself with people that will constantly push you to be a better person.

  3. Read Motivational or Inspirational Materials: Most times when people are less busy, they tend to gossip and engage in non profiting activities. When you find yourself in such a field, read something that will remind you of the positive things in life and make you think positively.

  4. Have a Mantra and Stick With It: A mantra is a statement or slogan repeated frequently. Have a mantra; something to keep you going, repeat it to yourself daily and stick with it.

  5. Be Selfish: When surrounded with negative energy, be selfish i.e. take care of yourself. Think of making yourself happy and a better person. While you’re thinking of how to make yourself happy and be a better person, ideas flow making you creative and cleansing you from negative energy person’s.
