कर्मों की ध्वनि शब्दों से ऊंची होती है।

शब्द तब ही अन्य तक पहुंचते हैं, उन्हें प्रभावित करते हैं जब उनमे ध्वनि होती है, वे उच्च स्वर में अभिव्यक्त किए जाते हैं किंतु जो शब्दों के द्वारा कहा जाता है यदि उसे अपने कर्म के द्वारा प्रस्तुत कर दिया जाए तो उनकी ध्वनि शब्दों की ध्वनि से भी ऊंची होती है अर्थात वे अन्य को शब्दों से भी अधिक प्रभावित करते है।
निसंदेह शब्दों में संप्रेषणीय शक्ति होती है, वह श्रोता के मानस को बदलने में प्रभावी होते हैं, रूसो ने स्वतंत्रता के बारे में जो-कुछ कहा उससे फ्रांसीसी क्रांति संभव होने में मदद मिली, मार्क्स के विचारों से दुनिया में साम्यवादी क्रांति हुई किंतु लेनिन,माओ और गांधी ने अपने कर्मों के द्वारा मानव संस्कृति के परिवर्तन का जो साक्षात् मार्ग प्रस्तुत किया उसने दुनिया को अधिक गहराई से प्रभावित किया। वस्तुतः कर्म किसी विचार की संभव शीलता को प्रस्तुत करते हैं, लोगों में ऐसा किए जा सकने के प्रति विश्वास पैदा होता है, विचार और कर्म की दूरी और द्वेतता समाप्त होती है। कर्म को साक्षात होता हुआ देखने पर वह कर्म को करणीय लगता ही है साथ ही स्वयं करता भी गहन आस्था और श्रद्धा का पात्र बन जाता है, वह अनुकरणीय लगने लगता है। कई लोग ऐसे महान हुए हैं जो अपने कर्मों के द्वारा ही विश्व के व्यापक जन समुदाय को प्रभावित कर सके हैं।

फल कर्म वृक्ष का अंतिम भाग है।
फल कर्म की संपूर्ण प्रक्रिया की अंतिम कड़ी है। बीज के बोने, अंकुरित होने, निराई- गुड़ाई करने, सींचने, पल्लवित होने, पुष्पित होने के उपरांत अर्थात् पौधे के विकास के समस्त चरणों के बाद, अंतिम चरण के रूप में फल प्राप्त होता है। जो लोग पौधे के विकास की इस प्रक्रिया में फल को पहले ही ढूंढना चाहेंगे तो वह फल प्राप्त करने में असफल तो होंगे ही वे पौधे के विकास की सहज प्रक्रिया में बाधा पहुंचा कर आगे प्राप्त होने वाले फल की संभावनाओं को भी नष्ट कर देंगे।
जो लोग कर्म के फल के रूप में परिणति से आश्वस्त नहीं होते वह कर्म पूर्ण करने के पहले ही फल की लालसा करने लगते हैं और कारण से अपना अवधान हटा लेते हैं। कर्म का फल प्राप्त होना तो निश्चित है किंतु उसका क्रम कर्म के समाप्त होने के उपरांत ही हैं, शुरू में या बीच में नहीं। जिन लोगों में यह वैचारिक स्पष्टता है कि फल कर्म के अंत में ही प्राप्त होगा वे पूर्ण मनोयोग से अपना कर्म करते रहते हैं और एक प्रभावी कर्म से अपेक्षित फल को प्राप्त करते हैं।
फल का क्रम कर्म के अंत में होने का यह आवश्यक नहीं है कि हम फल की इच्छा न रखें। इच्छा रखें बेशक, किंतु वह कर्म-प्रक्रिया के बाच में नहीं, अंत में। हालांकि इससे यह भी स्पष्ट होता है कि जब पौधे के अंत में फल आना ही है तब फल की इच्छा रखने या न रखने का कोई अर्थ नहीं है, वह तो निर्धारित समय पर अवश्य ही प्राप्त होगा। किसी कारण के फलस्वरुप कार्य तो होना ही है इसलिए उसे पहले या बीच में ढूंढने के लिए भटकना व्यर्थ है, अनावश्यक है।
