At least here in the US, it is well known that outside of Ford's trucks, they are not known for build quality. Even inside the truck industry, they are on the bottom end of the spectrum, with recent offerings from the import crowd getting better and better. While it might be un-American to say it, I would by a Toyota or Nissan truck before I ever bought a Chevy, Dodge or Ford.

I generally feel this way about the cars too.
