I am battling the "doom spiral" as @veckinon so aptly called it when I was hanging with him tonight ... Coincidentally , my mom sent me a spiralizer. I also went on some hikes and I just realized all my photos are so noodly shaped. So maybe its a sign. Maybe noodles are the thing that will save me! Here is a quick post with some noodle shapes that made my past few days a more tolerable place to be.

This super bad assed spiralizer can make noodles out of everything! I mean, things that taste good anyway. I made spiralized sweet potatoes. OMG. so good. I scrambled some eggs with them but I was so into the food I ate it all up before taking a picture of the final product whoops!

I hiked myself out of my doom spiral

Its finally sunny and nice, and its been cloudy so long that you should SEE all the stunned faces around here. People are like in shock. When you run into friends they talk about the weather like they cant even believe it. Like we all won the lottery. Like it could become cloudy again any second so lets get our asses out there quick! And so thats what I did.. I took some pretty nice hikes. Here are some photos:

The river is very high

This area is not usually so full of water. I couldnt walk on some of the trails there because the water was covering them. Look at all the branches and shadows. So noodly. These noodles smelled so springy and montana like and good!

I love these colors

I didnt enhance this photo at all because I think it captures the subtle colors very nicely. The subtlety invites me to look, and look, and look... at all the noodles.

Here is a cool ponderosa needle spiral situation I found. And a really pretty rock with a noodle design.

Maybe its a magic spiralizer!

This is a mossy cliff wall that I would stare at forever, but its too near the trailhead and so random people walk by. I like to get far away from the trailhead so that i can stare at things without another soul around ! Just me and the bugs and the birds thanks! But this is still a cool spot. And there were a bunch of fallen branches at the bottom of it that look like a big plate of angel hair so ...

Anyway feel free to debate

But I think the Flying Spaghetti Monster is trying to tell me something!
