  • Editing a comment that you've made before (regardless of comment's age) will put it at the top of the author's Replies tab/notification. (May or may not generate a new notification)

  • This happens on your Comments tab too, whatever comment you edit will go to the top.

  • Adding the symbols "<--" will hide any comments added after it.

Cool! <-- I edited this one :D

I see. We're making progress here. This is what happened:

If you edited your comment, it will go back to the top of the Replies tab. However, the edit will not be shown on the Replies tab. It will only be shown once the comment/post is opened.

I did not say anything at all.

<-- Comment has been edited.

Another progress. It will actually show the edited comment, however it will not show the parts after the symbols "<--".

Ok, it's like you get the comment in the replies tab upgraded (as last edited) and in the first place, right?

That is correct, this may help if you'd like them to view your comment again. However, if it does not produce a notification they won't notice it if they don't check their Replies tab manually.

Yes, this may be heplfull when you have posts with a lot of replies and yours just slipped away

It could be.

oh no i do that a lot thanks for the fact

Hi sorry, testing it out a bit. Turns out it may not notify them again, but it will surely put your comment back at the top of their Replies tab. (edited the post)

It did notify me. So:

  • It will put the comment/reply back on top - 100% sure.
  • It may produce a notification. Hit or miss. 50% sure.

I tested it out, sometimes there's no new notification.

You're welcome.

Good to know.

This was a thumbs up but I guess it doesn't work.

Thanks for the update ✌️upvoted

You're welcome
