Direct democracy and the Internet
Read this fascinating article by Dick Morris where he predicts the advent of direct democracy. Dick starts off by proclaiming, "The Internet offers a potential for direct democracy so profound
that it may well transform not only our system of politics but also our
very form of government."
His prediction was written along time ago (2001) and we are still waiting for a web based global direct democracy platform to emerge.

It is different in our country internet and social media is now a scourge for the government. Because on the internet compiled plans of assassination officials, insults to the government, imaging, and still many things that do not like to appear on the internet. Criticism is regarded as a jealousy, small things are exaggerated, big issues are considered normal.
